Volunteer to be a Mentor

You can change the life of an emerging filmmaker.

Everyone remembers the people who took the time to help and inspire them when first starting out; the experienced professionals who provided answers and insights that changed what is possible and shaped their creative journey.

First Frame Foundation is asking for your help to mentor the next generation of filmmakers. These are emerging producers, directors, writers, actors, editors, composers, production designers, artists, ages 18 to 24, at the earliest stage of their career.

You will have three one-hour virtual sessions conducted by Zoom or Google Meet over a several month period. The mentorship program's guidelines and code of conduct may be viewed here. There's no long-term commitment, no office hours. This is career-based mentoring and you will not be asked to offer employment or be pitched projects by mentees.
